Default Bumper

Guys, I wanted to get some feedback on an idea. i work for an aluminum extruder and have been trying to put together an idea on a bumper. What is your thoughts on an aluminum bumper. i know it would be weeker than a steel but would be significantly lighter. Give me some pros and cons.

if i had the choice of having the same bumpers i have for the same price, except in alluminum, id choose the alluminum. they would have to be powder coated though.

Good idea. Give the Al a try. It will be lighter than a steel bumper and as long as you are not dragging it across rocks, it should hold up fine.
