Default Bumper Alert

i was looking at this bumper recently posted on Quadratec here

http://www.quadratec.com/products/12116_101.htm

at $794.00 bucks

SO i goto the dealership the day before i pick up the new Sahara i ordered on Jan 2 with a Pic of that bumper from Quadratec and tell them to add that bumper to my invoice. The nice lady says ok, it cost $555.00 bucks and i proceed to ask if shes sure thats the same bumper at which she says "i think so"? They order it the day i buy my Jeep and it comes in the next day at the dealership. it is the SAME BUMPER....i loaded it in back of my jeep and high tailed it outta there !!!!

Great deal, sounds like you got it for cost. I'd check the caller ID and hold off on answering when they call for a while..

That is a pretty good deal. I have the same bumper sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. I got it from my local dealer. The dealer cost on the bumper from Mopar is $434.91 and I get my parts from the dealer for cost plus 10%. So I paid 478.40 for the front bumper.

I also got the rear bumper (with the provisions for the tire carrier) for $455.40 and the front skid plate for $198.95.

Tell your dealer you want cost plus 10%. Most will sell parts for that price to member of local Jeep clubs, etc. Just ask 'em, all they can do is say "no".

Got a great deal on it from Summit Racing. Summit will price match any valid Internet prices. Amazon sells that winch for $658.99 with free ground shipping. Most everyone else sells it for $699.99. Some with free shipping some without.

Summit matched the $658.99 price but added their $6 oversize charge. Still a great deal and I got it in two days since they have warehouses on both coasts.

I was thinking about this Bumper but decided on the AEV. Only because I can mount the Factory Foglights on the AEV Model. Nice Bumper though, and a good price! My Girlfriend just bought a 2007 2-Door JK that didn't come with either the Foglights or the Tow Hooks. I'm assuming the Hooks will mount to this Bumper? I suppose I can give her my Hooks when the AEV get's here.

The one from Quadratec is for the one with the winch mount. The one I have (the one I posted the prices for) is also the one with the winch mount.

I don't know why Quadratec has marked up the price so much... except maybe they want to make more profit?
