Default Bumper mod question

I recently purchased a 2011 4dr rubicon jk. Interested in replacing bumper with an arb or similar. My question is will the bumper cause any sag requiring modification to the suspension and if so what needs to be done to correct. Thanks.

It will depending on the wieght of the bumper. A cheap fix to that is a leveling kit or Rubi coils (18-19's). You could put 3/4 - 1" spacers up front to counter the sag as well. There are many options out there...

My bumper and winch combo totals about 205 lbs. and caused my Rubicon to sag 3/4 Bumper alone depends, I have a mid length that weighs 80 lbs. and alone did nothing but once you add winch\fairlead and skid plate and lights and dRings it adds up. Bumper alone unless it weighs more than 120lbs may not even notice. 150ish and maybe 1/2 inch.

JK has a factory 1/2 rake so if you going to space it consider doing a 1.5" Front and 1" rear as a minimum. Teraflex level kit priced at $127 http://www.quadratec.com/products/16190_1100_07.htm that is 2" from and 1" rear. Anything more than that I recommend a real spring \ shock kit.

Thanks for the info. Looks like a leveling kit is the way to go.
