Bumper Question
I have done some searching and have been unable to find an answer to this question...
With all of the stock parts that need to be removed to install an aftermarket bumper, how much weight are you taking off?
I am thinking of adding the RR bumper (no winch...for now anyways) and I want to know the net weight I will be adding to the front end...
Will adding the RR bumper add a significant amount of weight to drop my front end and cause other issues...the weight of the RR is 105lbs

The stock bumper weighs around 35lbs. So the net increase won't drop your front end more than 1/8" to 1/4" - I doubt you will notice it. I would add a 3/4" spacer to level the front end, regardless of what bumper you get, if any.
The Rubi springs will hold the weight just fine. If you add a winch, it may drop another 1/4". I wouldn't worry about it. Just add a 3/4" spacer and you'll be fine and look better too.

Ok, thanks...
How involved is it to add the spacer? I have never done any work involving the suspension, I am pretty handy overall, so if it is easy/moderate im sure I can handle it...

Agreed I just put on the Rugged Ridge Bumper with the tube and end caps and i didnt even notice a drop... if you are looking for the bumper and havnt purchased it yet i got a great deal from CSE on Ebay.... type in XHD Bumper in the search field... free shipping and great prices...
Follow steps 1 through 15 and then backwards to re-install everything. Make sure you chock your rear wheels, leave your tranny in gear (if manual) and use your e-brake. When you remove the front tires, please them underneath the frame rails just behind the jack stands.

It's very easy - good luck.
