Default Bumpers that hold up

Just bought a 2010 Wrangler 4 door with 35's , I need to buy a bumper with spare swing on it but I am wondering what brand holds up the best, I looked at a 2010 with 1 that was nice looking but after only 1 year it shouldn't drop when you open it and this one did, I don't want to spend 1K to have this issue, any feedback on which is the most rugged brand would be appreciated, thanks

The LOD rear bumper/carriers are probably the most rugged and one of, if not the highest rated bumpers used amongst members. Watch some of the project-jk videos and take a look at the beating these bumpers can take. Not to mention, there are numerous racks, baskets, and jerry can mounts that are made for it.

Shrockworks are great but you have to wait 4-5 months for the rear with a tire carrier.

The Mopar steel bumper with swing away tire carrier. I have the rear bumper only section. It's taken some abuse. Believe me! I like it and don't regret it. Great purchase!

I have a Shrockworks rear bumper and tire carrier. Got mine in this past week and waited for just two months. I had
Shrockworks bumpers on my 2004 LJ as well. Rock solid off-road, and as the guy with the
van who ran into the back of my 2004 LJ will attest, rock solid on road! He got towed away all I got was a couple gashes on the 33" MTR attached to the Shrockworks carrier. The carrier did not have any bends or warps as a result of the hit.

WOW! You have just an incredible setup and that JK looks fantastic! It looks like you could climb Mt. Everest in that rig. Very nice!

I recommend the OR FAB tire carrier. Strong as hell, made in USA and great customer service.
