Question Bumpstop extension question

I have the RC 3.25 kit and 34 inch tires. While disconeccted I am getting rubbing in the front. I ordered bumpstop extensions from teraflex, the uppers/front. Now I am second guessing myself. Is this going to limit my upward travel to the point it effects off road ability? I want to flex as much as possible but I dont want to break anything either.

May be i need to rephrase this question. Will the Terafelx front upper bumpstop extensions limit my upwards travel too much or will they be ok?

better to have bumpstops then OVER-compressing your springs.

You have the 2.2 shocks? Over-compressing the coils/shocks should not be a problem.

If you are worried about losing uptravel by adding the new upper stops, just grab a sawzall/grinder...

(that's what I chose over adding more bumpstop...)

I do have the RC shocks with the little rubber thing on the end to stop upward travel. I have heard though that that they are not good enough and extended bump stops should be installed to stop over compression of springs as well as keep tires out of fenders. I am just nervous when I fully flex suspension to the point the tires are touching the fender flairs I stil have about 1 inch of space between bumpstop and axle.

I agree, better than busting a spring.
