you are having problems with them because RE bushings suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they did have bad batches of bushings from the manufacturer, so they say. you need the info of when you purchased your lift with proof of receipt or invoice, something stating when you bought. i would not even bother calling them until you have this info ready. i called the company who i purchased through and had them send me the invoice from original purchase of the lift. most likely if you are within their "bad batch" time frame (which they will not tell you dates), they will replace free of cost on parts, but you have to do it yourself or pay for labor cost.

personally, i dont know what happen to this company, yes most of their products are great, but they have really gone down the toilet last few years in customer service and company policies to help their customers out.

yes i have same problem, have for a long time, just ended up doing it myself and said F*&^ RE!! I am slowly changing out their parts for other brands

The dealer purchased and installed lift. I had them do it as soon as jeep came in from factory. They replace free under warrenty the first time and are waiting from reply from RE to find out WTF! I would think they'd have a product that would last more than a year for they're 4k price tag.

is it safe to assume that you have the 4.5" long arm kit? also, is it safe to assume that you are mainly blowing out your rear bushings? if so, this is a very common problem and one caused by the a radius arm design.

is it a design flaw with radius arms, design flaw in the re kit or one of those "nature of the beast" type things with radius arms? im curious because you are specifically stating the re 4.5" la kit which seems to have the most issues

re just was not helpful in my case. got the explanation of "bad batch" or install error and stil no help. i do understand bushing preload and alll that stuff and was not an instal error.

When I got my JK in may of this year, it had the RE 4 1/2" LA installed. Still not one squeek and the arms are tight. I've had a good experience with their products and I will continue to buy from them. I never had heard about the bushing problem until I got in the JK world. Oh well. Every mfr has issues, its how they choose to treat their customers that decides their reputation.
very true, i would have continued my business wth them if they had taken care of the problem and they do have many great products. but in my case they did not, handled poorly, so my business has grown towards other companies now.
