Default Bushwacker ? of the day

I got a set for Christmas, and was going to install them this week until I got the recall notice for the inner liner/ splash shield.

How many of you with Bushwackers keep the splash gaurd and cut it like the directions say and how many toss it in the trash?

I cut and kept my liners in. I didnt want my engine exposed more than it already is.

I got that TSB in yesterday. Only place I can see that the liner may touch the brake lines is on the passenger side. Hell I can trim a corner off with a knife and not waste half a day sitting at the dealer.

Keep mine. Don't want mud and stuff flung into the enine compartment. Plus it was no problem to do it. Great time to do the pinch seams too.

initally, we kept ours and while it's nice to have, we ended up yanking it out just like our white jk and honestly, i think it looks fine. we left the rear in as unless you have a black or dark colored jk, it looks funny to not have liners in the rear.
