After many hours and the use of many "ADULT" words...I AM DONE! I am not the most mechanically inclined individual out there, but I have the tools and I get by, plus I have my brother on speed dial. Anyway, these damn things were a PITA. First of all, removing the old splash shield from the old fender was not too difficult, and taking off the old fender was easy....building up confidence along the way. Then the new flares. Geez, the back ones went on 1,2,3. First the inner fender that attaches to the body and then the outer flare that attaches to the inner flare, then the spash shield. AND ALL THE SCREWS LINED UP PERFECTLY!
Then the fronts. Easy to take off.....Time consuming to get on. The inner flares didn't fit properly on either side. The mold didn't line up with the lines of the jeep. Out of the 9 screw holes, only 3 lined up right. The others took some pushing and pulling and a little begging to get them in. After the inners went on, the spash shields had to be attached to the outer flares before installing them onto the inner flares. Once again.....Holes not matching!!!! More swearing and more promises to God and finally they were ready to go. Then to add insult to injury......the inners and outers didn't LINE UP EITHER, bring on the ALCOHOL! After a couple beers and a few choice words...you have this...

It was alot of work but I really like how they look.

Man, those look really awesome. I perfer the unpainted versions like yours. May I ask where you got those from? The only ones I can find say Ready to paint which makes me worry they won't look like yours.
