CAN UPPERS and LOWERS be done in
2 HOURS ???????
Is it ok to keep the BALL JOINTS in too while welding if they are covered by cool wet rags???

Never mind, I didnt have my morning juice, the EVO's are the ones that box in your C. I REALLY shouldn't listen to the stuff in my head!!!

And as far as time? 2 hours sound about right to prep and install the welding itself shouldn't take all that long.

Welded my EVO gussets on Saturday. Good quality pieces and were easy to install.

That's how we installed the gussets on my rig. Kept a cold wet rag on the ball joints and made short passes with the MIG.
No problems.

I went with a local company, Taboo Customs in Quincy, IL. We welded them with the ball joints in place, cooled by ice-watered rags.

Can you REMOVE the BALL joints weld the C's and re-use the ball joints??? Thx again

got evo gussets and sleeves on the way. looked like the best ones around and think they build good stuff.
