Default C gussets and sleeves

Need to sleeve and gusset. I've been putting if off but I honestly wheel WAYYYY too much and I don't want to bend the Cs. My questions are: where can I get the gussets? I have a welder and I can weld, idk where to get them. Also, sleeves. How/where do they install? Also, same question with the Cs I guess. Anyone done it themselves and have any advice/instructions?? Thank you in advance!!!

As for tips and advise, I installed my Evo Gussets and Sleeves last week. Buy good drill bits and use a bit coolant/lubricant so they'll last. This is Not a quick easy install no matter how simple the videos make it seem. Drilling takes the longest. Also if you might be needing new ball joints it would be good to install them when you gusset so you don't have to go slow and let the C cool down.

At least two companies offer them: Teraflex and Off-road Evolution (EVO branded). I have the EVO. You should consider doing the front LCA skids and the rear shock skids at the same time. But, I had a friend who welds put on the gussets. He took his time and used a welder at a local vo-tech because his personal welder was too small for the job. The sleeves are a lot of work, both because of the aforementioned need to drill holes in the axle, and because of the skill required to do the plug welds. I was having my Jeep regeared, so went ahead and had Screamin' Lizard do the sleeves and new chromolly axles at the same time.

Also, sleeves. How/where do they install? Also, same question with the Cs I guess.
Inner Sleeves - are tubes that are inserted inside the housing tubes on both sides. Remove the shafts, drill a bunch of holes in the housing, slide the sleeves in, weld all of the holes, put the internals back in.

Outer Sleeves - are clamshells that are welded to the outside of the housing. Some have cutouts to fit around the brackets, some will have you remove brackets and re-weld.

C Gussets - go on the upper and lower C's, which are curved up and down from both ends of the housing, right behind the tire/rim/brake/knuckle.

And this is the Bombshell kit from Rockslide Engineering
It has Upper Gussets, Inner Sleeves, and a 3 piece Outer Sleeves

If you can weld and modestly turn a wrench, these two parts are relatively easy to install. Sleeves require some drilling which can take some time, but not difficult.

The EVO C2 Gussets and sleeves can be purchased through

or

I had mine done as well. If you dont understand and know what it takes already - Get someone else to do it. To easy to screw stuff up doing it.

To answer about the sleeves. They are simply metal tubing similar to roll cage tubing that you place on the inside of your axle housing both long and short sides if doing the front. You drill holes in the housing and plug weld as mentioned above to hold in place. Then your axles go inside these. Your are thickening the housing diameter to keep it from bending.
