Default C Load range

I'm buying new tires. I've decided on the Goodyear MTR Kevlar in 35x12.50 R17. The only thing is, I noticed that this is a C load range tire. They also offer the tire in a 315/70 R17 with the D range, but those are significantly more expensive. I have a 2dr hardtop with winch and bumper, is the C range good enough and safe at speeds? Comments from knowledgeable people only please, no speculation or opinion, only facts.

The C load range will carry almost 2500lbs per tire. Four of them will carry 10,000lbs. Your jeep will be using less than 50% of their capacity.

The C rated tire are PLENTY.

All facts, no opinions:

Load Range D will have thicker sidewalls and therefore will ride a bit harder. Remember that as you reduce tire pressure, you do drop in tire load carrying capacity. However, Load Range C is plenty for a 2-door. Look what's on the pillar of your door.

I've got the 305/70/17 and they're just too stiff. The Jeep rides like a log wagon and I know its because of the tires. I had the stocker Rubi KMs on for a bit this winter and the difference was quite noticable.

Go with the C and don't worry.

Thanks for everything guys. I put "only the facts" because, well, we all are prone to opinions on this forum and for this I wanted stone cold yes or no, not what someone prefers personally. Thanks again!!
