Default CAI & Body Lifts

I wanted to find out if those of you that have a BL on your JK are you also running a CAI. Did you have to do any modification to the intake for the install. I want to add a CAI as my next mod, but after reading some of the installation instructions there are some disclaimers that state "The CAI may not work with Body lifts, etc" Any input? Thanks...

x2.... Guess I never read any disclaimers about the M.O.R.E... or just ignored them... none-the-less, it worked fine w/no issues.

i think the potential problem is that the heat shielding will no longer sit flush with the hood when closed.

Thanks for all the input...I will probably have to stick w/CAI that is incased such as VOLANT, TRUFLOW,S&B, etc rather than the ones with a separate heat shield like AIRRAID, AEM, K&N, etc...

The disclaimer was from one of the intake manufacturers stating that their intake may not fit properly with JKs equipped with a BL....

Thanks..

i also have a M.O.R.E. 1" lift and Airiad, with no problems at all. nothing in the Airiad instructions about fitment issues. i would recommend this setup

+ 2 for Airaid...I may have to look into that intake. Aside from knowing from you guys that they fit w/out any problems I noticed they are one of the lower priced intakes...Thanks..
