good idea. Your engine likes to play in water, but not to drink it...
I really like my AEV snorkel. If you do alot of highway get the ram air top, but if you do mostly city/trails, the prefilter is ideal.

On a somewhat unrelated note, I usually get 16.5ish MPG highway and city.(32s + 3.21 gears) the prefilter has trouble suckling air at highway speeds so no mpg gains. I got a 3in PVC 90, painted it black and popped it on for my trip to Ft. Worth (240 miles) to see my dad for Christmas, and got 18.5+ mpg both ways!! woot.
I don't really drive on the highway but a couple times a year, so my prefilter will stay.

You are not goint to get any cooler air than that.
Prices are about the same CAI and AEV snorkel and then the HEMI snorkel they are working on will probably work with CIAs to though I'm not sure of the details.

I want a snorkel and I hate driving in water....

Polls are your friend

The snorkel provides a little cooler ambient air over the majority of CAI's available (just a little). The differences are minute and there would likely be ZERO dyno result differences for hp/tq. The snorkel would also provide more water resistant driving and if you do a lot of sand or Africa trail runs the higher intake results in less air filter clogging over mid-level stock or CAI setups.
