I bought the daystar dash cover and installed it last night. looks great, went in easy, but now my compass is off. was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem

Is your compass backwards? That little puck with the mini wiring harness is the compass, you probably flipped it. THere's a recalibration method, it's in the manual. You have to press and hold the button for 10 seconds or something like that.

Once the compass is on, try going to a parking lot and driving around in a circle for a couple of minutes. See if that will help!
