Default Call me crazy but....

Specs first 4.5 inch aev lift with 35s....my question is when 4 wheel is engaged and I try and make a sharp turn I get a lot of resistance out of the steering wheel. My thought is I am still running the stock driveshaft which is probably my problem. Thanks for the input ahead of time

Sounds like u-joint bind. You really should try to avoid sharp turns in 4 wheel drive when traction is good and never turn sharp when the front axle it's locked.

I think it has nothing to do with the driveshaft but you will need to replace it.

Where are you trying to turn? on pavement? If your in 4wd on a grippy surface you will get binding in the transfer case, this is a fixed 50/50 power split front and rear. It isn't like an awd car that has a center diff. I think I know what your saying but more info would be helpful....

In 4wd your front axle shafts are now under power, with u-joints they will bind and fight against. Like the others said, limit how much you fight against it or you'll snap u-joints.
