Default Calling all ripp longtube users

First off, ive been a long time creeper on the site so im aware of all of the very useful info and knowledge...

Ok, I installed a set of ripp longtubes with ripps custom tune a couple weeks ago. My gas mileage has DROPPED significantly since then. I went from 18's to 14's with no other changes other than the headers. Is this a normal thing? I was under the impression they would increase my mpg's.

If I had them I know my mileage would drop because I'd be on it ALL the time

I actually thought that at first but to be honest the power isn't really that noticable. Kind of disappointing.

I have the headers with the super charger and notice when I installed the headers that I gained more low end power,as for the mileage I stop worring about that when I started with steel bumbers bigger tires etc, what I do know for sure is that I have more power with Ripp S.C. and Headers.

Im not concerned with "good" gas mileage otherwise i wouldn't have owned many jeeps. I'm concerned for diagnostic purposes. Since I've heard claims of them increasing gas mileage and mine has dropped drastically. But thanks for your help

Give it more time to average out.
I've done a couple things to mine, but don't look for good mpg data until I've run it through all the seasons.

That doesn't sound right. You should call RIPP and see what they advise.
