I had this issue with another vehicle not you headers but I could see it as a cause have you checked your O2 sensors? if a wire got knicked or any damage or failure that could be the issue also

Didn't look to see if you're running larger tires, but sometimes the Diablo will change your "tire size" settings when loading a tune so might be something to check if you haven't already. Otherwise agree with those that suggest calling RIPP - something is not right.

I did Gibson headers and cat back exhaust on my 11' JKU and it didn't effect my mpg at all. I noticed a but more power in my jeep but maybe that's just cuz I hit the gas harder cuz I like the sound of it. I went and got it professionally tuned after a 4" lift and 35"s and my mpg only went down to 18 highway instead of the 20 I was getting.

Do you have a diablosport tuner, or just the headers. We have a specific tune to be loaded though the diablosport. If so, and you are still having this isssue, please take a datlog, and we will see what the ecu is doing.

Yes i have a Diablo with the RIPP header tune. I ended up resetting the ecu by disconnecting the battery and reprogrammed my tire size. Mpgs are around 17 now. Still not where they were before the headers but better than before. It may be because of the winter gas or the fact that I've got my foot on the gas more.

Glad to hear that you have resolved the problem, and yes "lead foot itus" can contribute to lower mpg numbers. If you still feel it isn't right, please contact us at 718-815-1313 ext 10. or 11 or rippmods@rippmods.com
