Default Camber/control arm length expert needed

I just put on an OME HD lift on a 2-door automatic JK. Got about 3" out of the lift. It will sag a bit - I have heard. I just measured the camber from dead flat surface. It is 2 degrees. It does stear a little flighty so I ordered the adj. LCA's from David. My stock LCA length is 22 9/16 center to center.

How much should I pre-set the new LCA's to get it back to between 4 and 5 degrees? Thanks much.

To the top. The LCA's are arriving tomorrow. Anyone have an answer? Thanks again.

it really depends on the jeep. if it were me with your jeep i would start with 23.5 if you are running the stock drive shaft up front. if you have a after market one i would go 23.25 and measure your pinion angle to make sure you don't have to much. really it is trial and error for the arms you need to go as far as you can till you feel a drive line vibe and then back it off just a bit so no vibes. that will give you the best driving feel on road and no vibe problems or t case explosion. this measurment is for the front lowers on a four door but should be similar to a two door i belive.

i just set up a friends lowers on his four door last night with 23.5 and it worked great with the stock drive shaft. when he gets his new front shaft it will need to be shortened though.

OK, thanks. So, what is the best way to streach the distance to get the longer LCA in place?

get uppers as well to change your pinion angle back to a reasonable degree. if you have the money i just upgraded to a long arm kit from rk and i am so happy with it. the ride and flex over what i had with just front lowers is night and day. the bumps just get soaked up and no more rear squat. also lost the bind in the rear and have six plus inches of gain in the droop.

my drive line up front is at 1.7 degree and the rear is about the same. no vibes and great ride. uppers are not necessary but would be the answer to your question of how. i ran about a 1.5 years with just lowers and my lift is 5.5 of actual lift. not to bad but can be better with more money and time.

if you have recovery rings on your front bumper, you could use those with ratchet straps around your axle. tighten the straps a little at a time until the bolts go through without resistance... and only do one side at a time!
