8000 at least limits the options. Superwinch has a nice economy one but durability is up to you and whether you want a winch for long pulling or just to get you unstuck once in awhile.

I installed a LoD bumper last week $478 with freight and a Superwinch EPi 9 which is a 9,000 lb winch for $628 deliverd. It was a very easy installation. Yesterday we had 10 inches of snow here in SW Missouri and I used mine 4 times in less than an hour helping people out of ditches. Worked perfect. Yes a bit more for the winch that some but Warn help desk has not been my favorite from past experiences. So far, love this combo.

Take a look at the T-Max 9000K winch too, its one of the fastest under load of the cheap winches.

The Shrock Stubby is very cool, and tough.

I got my HighRock front bumper, light bar and Mile Marker winch for around $1100.

Love it. Looks great but is heavy.

That looks good. DAMN good for $600. I would just miss the fog lights. The expetition one basic DX w/ lights are looking good now too...

Default Expedition One

I just ordered an Expedition One Basic DX bumper with a Superwinch for $799 shipped. That's a pretty good deal if you ask me.

I'm into my set up for $1100. But I cheated, I built my own bumper.

Can't go wrong with the XHD bumper and a Warn M8000 for a total of $853 shipped.
