Can I remove the grill without removal of winch?
I have a rugged ridge XHD with a smittybilt XRC-8 in it.
Can I remove the grill without unscrewing the winch (biggest pain in the ass with the XHD)
There is about 1" of space between the rails of the winch drum and the grill.
I need to install a siren speaker.

It can be done but it requires patience. I have taken mine off twice whith the bumer and winch still on. You will have to make it do some flexing but it can come out unharmed. The hardest part is the bottom center plastic pin. After you get past that beast it isn't too bad just take your time.
