Default Can i still run Moab wheels?

Have 2013 JKU and I am going to put a 2.5" lift and I would like 35x12.50x17 tires, but I still want to run Moab wheels. Besides spacers will the tires even fit on factory rims?

no problem running that size on moabs...people run 37's on them. I had rubbing issue with my RK LCA since they don't have a bend in them but I added a washer each side and now they don't rub at all.

That's going to be great if it works!! How wide are the Moabs? Should I get 1.5" spacers?

I'm doing just that as we speak. 1.5" spacers should get the job done nicely. I'd recommend a name brand (SpiderTrax, for example) so you know you are getting as high quality spacer - not some eBay knock off.

Are they safe? Should I get steel or aluminum?

They are safe, and I think they are all Aluminum. The only "issue" is that they need to be torqued correctly and checked regularly. They will come with directions.

I am getting SpiderTrax, they have an excellent reputation and I have seen guys abuse them and they have had no issues.

I searched the forum and found no one mention a failure. They are very strong - probably stronger than the wheel is.
