Default Can someone help me out with hitch height?

I need to pick up a jet ski trailer about 2 hours from my house and not sure if my hitch is too high as I have not pulled anything with it yet.

Can someone get me a height from the ground to the top of their hitch ball? I want to make sure I pull this safely and might have to by a drop hitch.

Thanks.

Someone else's hitch height won't help you. Get an adjustable drawbar. I have found mine to be very handy.

I've heard like 15 inches from the ground I thought from a hitch dealer. I believe that's what he said...

I have a 2dr with the TF leveling kit and 31" tires. I have to use a 2" drop to pull my pop-up camper.

I thought there would be fairly standard height from the ground where the tongue would be at the correct angle.

Different trailers have different tongue heights.
It sounds like you may need to buy a drop hitch, so just make it an adjustable one.

I went to the local wallyworld and found the adjustable one by Reese and its been great! For my popup camper it sits a little higher and for the JetSki/other trailers it gets lowered a notch.

Yayyyy wallyworld in only 5 miles away but I think that might be the case with just about the entire USA.

Thanks for all your replys.
