Default Can u move the ss mounting bracket?

... Everyone is aware that some of the gas filled steering stabilizers will cause a left push. Q. Any harm in moving the center mounting bracket 2" closer to the front left tire to neutralize the ss and remove the left push?
E.g. Move this bracket pictured...

Well, that wouldn't change the push and when you turn, the stabilizer would stop your turning radius either by over extension or bottoming depending on which way you move the mount.
