i have a issue with my sway bar hitting my front left coils. I have tried every possible adjustment to my front upper and lover control arms. i have my castor set at 4.5. my question is can i move my front sway bar forward a inch or so to stop this problem? also would this cause any issues?

Your springs might be bowed toward the front. The springs will bow toward the front if the spring perch on the axle is tilted toward the front.

Another possibility is that all 4 control arms are set too long. You just need to find the same pinion and castor angles with the wheelbase set slightly shorter.

Its hard to tell what's going on for sure without seeing the Jeep, but it should be possible to have level spring perches, drive-able castor, and a decent pinion angle.

Its always worth asking if everything was tightened down with the Jeep sitting on its wheels?

 

Like the other guy said , your front springs are probably bowed from the lift, you should be able to tell by looking at them . Several companies make brackets that make the springs straight , they go on the axle spring perches , and have a new perch that is angled in such a way that they make your springs straight .

 

It looks like it would move a little. I tried it though and when you tighten everything down it all goes back into place where it was.

 

I'd call TF and ask them about it. Its known to be a good lift so the problem must be with the setup.
