Here they are with about a half can of PB and 9 hours later. I've tried every hour on the hour.

There's not much torque on those bumper nuts. I'd try a long cheater pipe on a breaker bar. They should come right off. If you do t mind sacrificing them, try smacking them with a cold chisel to loosen their grip on the bolts.

A couple things to note. The bolts you see there are attached to the bumper and will come off with it. They won't get used again.

The bumper, once you do get it off, has very little resale value in most cases.

If all else fails, get a sawzall, or borrow one, and cut the bolts off.

Thanks Shutterbug! I'm about to take a sawzall to the whole bumper. It has been extremely frustrating!!

Mine, brand new, we're torqued to hell, I think the Jeep factory plays it fast and loose with the air gun on that kind of stuff. I had to use a cheater pipe, and mine was only 6 months old.

Happy Jeeping!

Finally got the bumper off. Used pipe over wrench just before the torch and they started moving. This of course is after soaking in PB for a bit. Bumper looks awesome! Thanks for all your help guys! I really appreciate it.

Looks Great. I'm a Huge fan of the Mid width bumper. For me its a compromise for people who don't want a stubby but don't like the look and weight of a full.
