Default Can't adjust camber? WTF?

I lifted my Jeep 2.5'' with a TF bb and at the same time put on 33x12.5x15 wheels and tires. To do this I had to use Spidertrax adapters to change my bolt pattern moving each tire out another 1.375''. Also, original backspacing stock was 5.5'' and the new wheels were 3.75'' bs.

So I take it to get an alignment yesterday and I am told that due to my set up it is IMPOSSIBLE to adjust the camber on my wheels. Is this BS or did he just not know what the hell he was doing.

This is from the service manual:

"CAMBER
Before each alignment reading the vehicle should be jounced (rear first, then front). Grasp each bumper at the center and jounce the vehicle up and down three times. Always release the bumper in the down position.

The wheel camber angle is preset. This angle is not adjustable and cannot be altered."

However, do a search to see if there are offset ball joints available to make small adjustments.

jeeps have solid front axles and camber adjustment will not be needed and so no ability to adjust it is present. if you have camber, your axle c's are bent and you can correct for them with off set balljoints as mentioned. they cost about $85-$100 each and do require a degree of effort to install - no pun intended

Are the Spidertrax causing the camber to be off?

nope. wheeling hard combined with your larger tires have caused your axle C's to bend. this is very common on JK's and why off road evolutions now sells axle C gussetts.

Yes, adjustable ball joints ARE available for the JK. I don't know if they are available in the aftermarket yet, but they are offered through dealerships.

Jeep has had some issues with the c-section on the end of the front axles not being within alignment specs. Problem is the tire shops have no part number for ajustable ball joints on the JK. So called the dealer his answer was possible replacement Now what do I do with the lockers and gears that have been installed ? Found a guy in Castle Rock WA. that has figured out what type of ball joints will work in the new dana axles. HE FIXED MINE You might want to call Xtreme off road .

Adjusting camber has nothing to do with your setup.

+12 or whatever on it not needing to be done unless there is a bent part. If there is a bent part, replace it or use the offset ball joints (again +12 or some other big number).

Do you have camber and caster confused? Is there a real problem you are fixing (tire wear, driving issue, something looks off)? Or are you just trying to cover all your bases with an alignment after your mods?
