Default Cant get muffler off!!

I was trying to get the stock muffler of my 09 and can not get the hangers through the rubber grommets. I was under the truck for 3 hours yesterday trying to push them through. No luck. I used soapy water and still nothing. Anyone know how to get the stupid hanger out. Thx

You can pick up some exhaust hanger removal pliers or just beat on it. Check you local auto parts store.

As for the hanger removed pliers no auto part store around here has it. This would a lot easier if I had a lift. Layin under the jeep is killing me

They can be a PITA.
As has been stated soak them with WD40, PB Blaster or the like.
You can use a pry/crow bar as well for leverage as well.
Good luck!
