There is no mention of different weights for front and back. Can I just go with the same weight front and back? I dont do much off roading and pretty much just use 4wd in the snow..

Open your Owners Manual...

SAE 80W-90 (or equivalent) in both axles

If you tow a lot, use
SAE 75W-140 (or equivalent) in the rear axle

Take some pressure off yourself....This is really easy..

For your needs ANY 75w-90 synthetic oil will do the job for you..if you want to spend a few more dollars to make yourself feel better knock yourself out.

I'm offroad alot and I tow my ATV trailer loaded with quads..Right now I use the Amsoil Severe gear 75w-90 up front and the 75w-140 in the rear. Only because I got a good deal on the Amsoil. Other wise it would have been Mobil 1.

In my last few Diesel trucks I ran Mobil 1 without issue and that was pulling large heavy trailers..

Royal purple 75/140 front and rear here

Why? Cause I bought a lot about 5 years ago at $6/quart. Have about 4qts left.

Never had a diff problem with it.
