You can use it to change tires still. I would a floor jack for other times when im really working on it, especially if I need two tires off the ground at the same time.

The "Foot" on the car jack needs to be modified into a cup.
Or to at least have an adapter to add to the square foot,
and attaching a cup to the foot.
The reason for this is simple. The Wrangler is a Solid Axle vehicle.
If You want to get both wheels off the ground, raise it from the
lowest point.... The Differential Housing.

If you do decide to do this, Please, please, please, Chock the
other Axles Wheels from moving in either direction.

AEV makes a jack base thats designed to work with the scissor jack. It fits in the under floor storage bin, and doubles as a chock. I'm sure Sponsor Northridge carries it.

I think he's asking if the jack will raise the truck high enough. If that is the case then my answer would be to put the factory jack on some 4x4's to compensate for the the lift. Works for me, just practice safety and chock the wheels as already stated.

yeah I use one of the AEV bases, it works real good and stows away neatly. So nice to have with a lifted rig.

Chock mean mark tire and ground that it was originally placed?

To protect axel?

The AEV base goes on the ground, place the jack on top, and crank away. Gives you 3.5 inches extension and prevents that wobble.

Block a tire on the ground so it doesn't roll
