Default cargo Net

Just wondering if anyone has seen, heard, had a friend, or even better yet have one of the new smity built back netting things.

I believe it is called the CRS or something like that.....it is only 100 bucks and it just looked interesting.

I know it may not be as nice as the COP one but is sure as hell a lot cheaper. besides, i am just looking for something to keep all of my stuff in the jeep when my top is down.

I've seen this in person the quality of the material is really good, but the top has to be off for it to actually work on the vehicle not just down. It snaps under where the soft top does when it's up and uses the back tailgate bar.

Default COP 4x4 Nack is the WAY TO GO....L

The Smitty Built looks LIKE the cost reflects. The material is just a glorified vinyl type material.

Not only is the Cop built tuff but the increased security and safety SEPARATES it from all competitors products. He used balistic material, and his real Billet hardware is outstanding. No only does it work great, but it also works to shade some of the heat so you don't need a bimini top. I don't worry about my valuables with the Nack, where a cheap knife would cut through the Smitty bilt in seconds. If you plan on really using your Jeep and keeping it, the NACK is the only choice and it will last for years and years.

If you're just looking for a net to stretch over stuff to stop it from moving around in the rear, REI sells a Yakima net that works great. It's around $40.

X2 on the smitty being cheap built and the price should be a dead givaway. If you just want it for looks or to keep paper bags from flying out your jeep its fine. In person it looks like a big sheet of thin vinyl cut out holes to make a net look.

There are other options out there. I have Safari straps and they are top notch. Raingler makes nets as well (havent seen those in person so no experience on their quality).
Best,

I had never seen the Safari Straps until this evening and mistook them at first for the Rainglers. The quality of the Rainglers is first rate and the hardware is very heavy duty. Just went out to the Moab area and "suspended" my trauma kit (about 25#) from the straps over the back. Didn't even wrinkle the materiel! Here's a pic with the top off (they attach to the sport cage so they work hardtop, soft top, or no top). And don't worry Heidi is normally in a harness attached to the seat mount.
