Question Carrying Snowboard on 2-door

How do you guys do it? Can it fit internal (a 154 - 160 cm board)? If not, do you use a rack? I woudnt be ready to do anything that would "bolt on" to the body. Thanks!

I am curious about this as well. I did look at the body cage and maybe some velcro straps would work in keeping the board up high?

do a search on the subject. Someone else was asking the same question a month or so back.....and i did a quick search on google and found a foam roof rack that fastened with straps through the doors or windows.....it was like $30.00 and held several boards and/or skis. The thread should be on here somewhere.

Sorry...spoke to soon....it is $89-$179...and is out of stock. But you could make one yourself for a fraction of that. pretty basic design. Here is the link

I use the Hidden Hitch bike rack with Ski/Snowboard rack. Fits right into the 2" reciever.

I rock one of the hitch racks too. But I usually pack the back with tons of gear and boards too. Passengers are for the other vehicles. I ride in a big group though, usually ten or more. If I go alone I just lay down the passenger seat and belt the board to the chair. It holds my boots right next to the heater too. Nice

Can you still open the tailgate with that setup, or must you pull the hitch pin and rack first?
