Default cb mounting location for 2012

Where is everyone mounting their CB radios. I'm looking for a good clean install. Post pictures if you could please.

I'm mounting mine in the same place I had in my 08. Right above the mirror.

Great write up. But where did you run the power and antenna wires?

i ran both through the roll bar padding and have the power going down the plastic windshield trim and then directly to the battery though an existing hole in the firewall. i ran the coax cable all the way back and down the roll bar having it exit near the rear seat belt. the cable goes through a plug near the quarter panel and out the bottom.

I have the Smittybuilt gear overhead and ran a stealth no drill set up with the midland 255 all in one

For the CB I chose the Cobra 75 WX ST. I mounted the control box in between the center console and the rear window switch pannel. Then hard wired it to the 12V outlet inside the center console.

My hardtop leaks sometimes (well I don't trust it) so I put a pc of rubber ontop of it
