Center Cap

Other than looks is there any practical purpose to the center caps on the wheels?

I dont see a purpose. I had to take mine off cause they are cheap plastic and keep breaking and the screws broke in the wheels.

I like the centercaps for the purpose of somewhat protecting the front end nut and threads from the elements and damage
