Default Center steering wheel?

Was wondering if I can re-center the steering after lift with full weight of jk on the ground or should I put the axle up on jack stands?

Adjust the steering while on the ground. Any chance you bought the AEV procal? It does have a function that allows you to check the centering of the steering wheel.

Well, just did it on the ground the only pain was getting up to keep checking the steering wheel. Got just under 4" lift out the OME HD lift on my stock 2 dr.

Completed this with the AEV Procal.

With that being said. My Steering wheel does not seem to "stay" centered. and there is still "play" in the steering response... any ideas on next steps?

35" on 1.5" spacers, no lift on yet.

I am in the process of doing this with the procal. I just installed a 4.5"AEV lift and 37's. I am having a hard time getting it lined up. Correct me if I am wrong but just pull it into the shop make sure the front tires are straight and then adjust it till the steering wheel is centered. I have done that and both signal lights light up then I go back into the Jeep and the steering wheel is off alittle to the left or right. I know it is simple maybe I am missing something.

I think I'll have to read over what the procal does as its bouncing around in my glove box. What are you using the procal for in regards to straightening the steering? I managed to get mine straight after the lift with only a minor tweek of the drag bar but should I also do something withe the procal?
