The Spect + clutch is extremely difficult to operate. Even after 5 months I am still not getting used to. The engagement level is right at the top. Definately not for daily driving. Even off road I am finding it extremely difficult. The clutch started squeeking again. Not sure if it is the throw out bearing or something else.

We will see when replace with centerforce and will also take some pics. Just recently i have a constant clicking noise coming out of the bell housing when jeep is sitting idle in neutral engine running and it only happens when engine is hot.

Maybe the SPec 3+ is good for people with different trails or offroad only but IMHO this clutch is not for normal driving you will hate it.

It's all good. I realized I kinda sounded like an ass when I posted the first message. Thats why I quoted his reasons. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the post. How long ago did you install ur CF clutch. After the cold start does the noise goes away or stay. Was it right from the start or just recently.

Also it makes a weird sound when cold, like the fingers arnt totally lines up, but I think that could be due to the installation job that was done on mine.

I installed one in my 2 dr after sinking it in a mudhole. The feel was similar to stock, maybe even a little lighter, but there was an extra clicking sound as well. See my other post in this thread:

Does the sound comes when engine is hot?Like Tick Tick Tick Tick when in neutral and parked?

I think it must be the bloody throw out bearing again? Not sure if the TSB for incorrect load on the rod is correctly fixed.

We do a lot of mud trails and this time I am thinking of sealing the bell housing so the mud or dust does not go in anymore maybe with some breather attahed to it.

Default clutch shift noise

I have the C.F. clutch and plan to install on jk 2008 due to shift squeak this month, hopefully this will cure the squeak. Can anyone out there who did this already have any advise before I do this, and if so did you run into any issue.

Thankyou Ed & Luz
