Default Chalk test results

These are the results from my first chalk test. Tires are at 26 psi cold. Are they still aired too high? Sorry for the pic orientation.

You want as much tread making contact as possible. Did you chalk the tires or the ground?
If you chalked the tires, yes too much. If you chalked the pavement, than too little

What is the width of your tire and wheel ?
With me .. Running a 12.5 on a 8 required less psi for full tread contact.

The wheel is 8" wide and the tire is 12.5". Tires have a load rating of C. Any idea of the adjustment increments we're talking about here? Will 2 psi make a difference or should I drop them like 5-6?

Did you chalk straight across the tire. That is fairly low pressure on a c rated tire to still have that much showing.

why would it matter how the chalk line is drawn as long as it cover the whole width of the tire?

this is on an e rated tire at 27psi on unlimited. I would say something is wrong with the above on a c rated tire. maybe not rolling straight or turning when checking.
