Have a 2007 unlimited and the change oil message is showing and chiming for the first time at exactly 10,000 miles. My understanding is this "feature" was not available until the 2008 model year. Searched and couldn't find any threads for this on 2007 model. I am I the only one and any suggestions to turn the damn thing off. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Our 07 has it too, it first went on at 9700miles and I havent seen it since. We have about 20K on it now.

To reset it: turn on the key, depress the gas pedal completely 3 times within 10 seconds, I think its in the owners manual too

 

Brian: Thanks for the response. In my search I found mention of the owners manual on page 203 and 212 & 213. Nothing I can find in my owners manual on any of these pages. I will try your reset procedure. Thanks again for your help.

I also have an '07, which i bought used with 13k miles on it. Last week, with 28k on it, the jeep started beeping at me, and the odometer said change oil. it kept doing it over, and over. sometimes after 5 seconds, sometimes after 5 mintues. There was nothing in my owner's manual about it either, and i had to search on here to find the gas pedal reset. I had heard that the '07's did have that feature, too. I also wonder why i had it for 15,000 miles before it went off.
