I know there is a tool to change your speedo to read correct with larger tires. Is there anything to adjust the shift points?

 

There is a tool by ProComp called AccuPro... that one does your speedo. There are some that might claim to adjust shift points but from what I've seen, it is only in conjunction with changing the programming of what size tires and/or gears you're running. In other words the speedo. If you make these adjustments, some manufactures claim that the shift points change I guess Best I can tell, chaning the programming to do w/your new tire size won't do anything to shift points since most of that is driven off of your tach anyway... and your tach doesn't change... just your speedo. I haven't seen any so far that will let you go in and program the exact shift points for various gears in an auto.

 

I have accupro and it does not change shift point. It adjusts your speedo for what ever size tire you have.

 

I thought I read somewhere that you can custom program a Uni chip, which made me think that it might include customizing the shift points. Not totally sure though...
