Default Changing gear ratio??

Might be a stupid question - but i'm having a hell of a time finding the 4.10 ration in the X. Is it possible to buy the standard axle and then change up?

Yes, but you would be looking at spending about $1000. Keep looking and you will find one.

You could also try looking for ones with an auto trans, they come with 4.10's standard. Unless you want the 6 speed.

I orderd my X w/4:10 gears, 6sp, 2dr, freedom top. etc... Took my local dealer about a week to find, but they are out there.

Good luck, its worth the wait.

hang in there man....i was on the same boat when i was looking for my JK. I almost gave up, and order 3.21 first (upgrade later), but the morning i decided to try again, the dealer found me a 4.10 on X.

Keep looking... Little patience will save you thousands of dollars down the road ...

have your dealer to look out at least 150 miles out.. That's how they found mine (i live in CT, and they found one in the border of NJ and PA)
