i like the mbrp's but its a bolt up system, good cause i could do it but i want the pipe to exit the side so instead of chopping the mbrp i was thinking of getting a strong steel muffler and get a shop to put in on

I was going to ask this same question. I did some damage to mine on its first outing. Does anyone have the Flowmaster 44 on their JK?
I just had this Flowmaster installed on Thursday. It is a series 40, they used as much of the factory pipe as they could. When they removed the factory muffler, they just added a piece and now it exits on the left rear.
It has a good throaty sound at idle and has a little rumble when you take off. It reminds me of the 4.0 that the older wranglers had. Total price was $110.00 including installation.
I included a couple of photos and a movie clip, sorry but it was kind of windy.
