Cheap Air Suspension alternative?
I was just wondering if the Airlift 1000 system http://www.airliftcompany.com/al1000.html could be used in the front and rear of the JK?
If the Jeep got high-centered just inflating the bags could take the weight off the springs and give 1 or 2 more inches of clearance (at least that's what I'm envisioning)
They run around $80 for a set, so it would cost $160 plus an air supply and a controller.
What do you think?

I have this type of setup on the front of my bronco.
The good:
Can raise/lower supspension.
Can adjust perceived spring rate for different terrain/weight.
The bad:
They leak – you have to keep adding air to keep your desired pressure.
You cant go to zero psi as they will get cockeyed in the spring.
Bottom line (opinion):
I would not do it again. Get the right springs for your weight/driving style and drive.
