If you look around, you can find some dyno charts showing the actual gains. The mfg's may list 20 or 30 or 50 HP in big bold print, but remember that that is way up at around 5000 rpm. Normal driving, you may get 5 or 7 or 10 HP. Cost vs Benefit will be a personal opinion, but many people feel these mods just aren't worth it.

CAIs for JKs don't really bring in cold air. A snorkel will. And it won't subject your Jeep to hydrolocking. A good exhaust upgrade can put parts where they won't get banged up off road. And it should have a better note (but please don't just go loud--many of us out in the wilderness are there to appreciate the sounds of nature--not someone a mile away with an obnoxiously loud tailpipe).

Yup what they all said.... Honestly the intake/exhaust might do more harm than good if not properly tuned after install. If anything I would just get an exhaust if you want something cheap.

Headers, true flow cat converter, and cat back paired with superchips tuner.

I tried all the gimmick bolt-ons... Exhaust, Cold Air Intake, Throttle Body Spacer, High Output Ignition, Tuner... If I had it all to do again, I'd definitely buy the tuner because it works. I'd get the exhaust because it relocated the muffler and it sounds better. Other than the tuner, I can't tell you there's enough performance difference to spend the money on. The rest is either for cosmetic or sound improvements. All will divert your funds from the stuff you really need, like armor and suspension.

We were talking about dunes not the rubicon. Each vehicle has their advantages.

I think we were suppose to be talking about what you could do to improve power in the V6 motor.

But if the Raptor is your rig of choice, then happy wheelin' sir.

I for one, like the exhaust and cai. Cai is better breathing for the engine. This is such a debate, I'm not getting into. But I do cai and exhaust upgrade on all my vehicles.
tuner does help too

Everything the OP asked has been addressed and we both own JK's so it's all good.
