Default Cheap tire carrier

Im looking into getting 35's really soon and I want to avoid putting it onto the tailgate at all costs... I don't have the money to buy a bumper and carrier so Im trying to think of all the options I can do. I already know throw it in the back so don't mention that one... I have some money to spend though just not enough for a bumper and tire carrier... any ideas under 400-500 range.

that helps out with whole thing falling off but it doesn't do anything for the actual hinges itself... which tents to be one of the bigger problems...

Rugged Ridge is other option. I have Toyo 35 and I have been using the stock carrier for more than a year without any issues.

The OR-Fab Tire carrier is an excellent suggestion.

AEV makes one that attaches to the stock bumper and works with the tail gate @ $600

I have a 35 on 17x9, 4.5"BS mounted on the Rubi stok tailgate - seems ok for now, but waiting for Bestop rear bumper/tire carrier to begin shipping $740

Other carriers I've seen cheaper still use the tailgate as the primary mount.

I want the Or Fab one. Seems like the best option but is a little too much for me to buy right now... Ive got to come up with something cheap and homemade for the time being...

Thats prolly the cheapest your gunna find for a high quality tire carrier. You can always just throw the spare in the back and tie it down
