Default check engine light.

ok so i just installed my snorkel and now i have a check engine light on. i unhooked the plug on the tube from the air box to the throttle body. or maybe the rtv is messing with the sensors has any one had the same problem did it fix its self?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes?

that is strange ... what dtc did it give you ? that will let you know what is wrong . have you disconnected your battery for a few minutes to reset the everything ?

im in turkey and dont have my reader with me but ya i disconnected the bat and took the filter out and left it open to let the RTV finish curing so we will see tomorrow if it works i was hoping some one who has put a snorkel on or unpluged the same plug as me had the same problem.

im guessing it is something minor.. i bet the light will go off in a day or so.. if you can find the code that would help to determine what the problem is .. their is a way to get it to display some codes without a reader.. if you look on the forum you can find out how... good luck

If you didn't disconnect the battery before you disconnected the plug than that can throw a code. Just drive it and it should clear out pretty fast

we are good thanks every one i took the air filter off all night and disconnected the bet and in the morning it was good to go thanks for the incite.
