checking how much lift before d/s
im running the 2.5 coil lift from teraflex and am looking at adding 1inch spacers front and rear. is there anyway i can check if this 1 extra inch is going to push me over the edge for d/s
Are you auto or manual? 4 door or 2?
As far as the front drive shaft, I don't know about pinion angle, but a lot of folks with autos have torn their front drive shaft boot off because the little metal clamp that holds it on made contact with the auto tranny while flexing, just with the 2.5" TF coil lift alone. Some folks have replaced the metal band with zip ties with success.
On the rear drive shaft, I think you will be pushing the envelope on your pinion angle if you are 2 dr. If you have a 4 dr, you will probably be fine.
All the above is just my speculation though. Maybe someone with more concrete answers can chime in.
