5.3 on 6L80E all day long. I was (well, I still am, minus my Jeep project) a GM guy all day long with previous projects. The Chevy LS engines are great engines, have tons of aftermarket, and the 4L60E (5 speed) and 6L80E (6 speed) transmissions are great transmissions. I put over 287K on a Sierra with a 4L60E, towing and being hard on it, never had a single problem out of it.

I plan on doing an LS/6L80E swap on my '12 whenever the kit for the 3.6 equipped models is released and I get high miles on my 6 cylinder.

Default LS/HEMI in a JK

We have done both swaps and the VVT Truck Hemi is the best Hemi we do, now the LS swaps are great and we have done about 15 swaps now using our KIT. The LS swap is getting better and better, i have a 2010 6.2L in the GuineaPig and it is working out great.

We like both engines ( HEMI/LS) I do not think you can go wrong doing ether engine setup and we do both.

Haha. I'm reading through the posts. The hemi can spin 35s on dry pavement at a stop. My 06 rubi tj did that with the 4.0
