This subject is also on my mind. Figure while I'm having them crack the housings open I might as well beef them up. Reading up on the Teraflex's people are claiming they sit lower than the factories. Anyone have that experience?

For you guys looking at diff covers, you might want to consider buying a LubeLocker at the same time. It's nice not to have to scrape RTV off anytime you remove that diff cover. They're relatively inexpensive and can be reused.

Skippman.....might be handy for you especially since you're going to regear and you'll have to pull that cover back off again to inspect the gears after 500 miles.

Yeah, that was on my list if I end up DIYing this. Do most of these diff covers that are flushable come with a magnetic plug?

Well, the drain plug is on the diff, not on the cover.
