Default Chop Fender question...

I have been reading all the treads on chopping stock fenders, It sounds and looks great and I want to cut mine but I already have a 2.5 lift with a 1.25 body lift W 305-65-17 Wheels. Will this be to much clearance or will it look OK. Probably is once I start there is no turning back. Any help would be great guys... Thanks.

Try taping it off first to how much you wanna trim and take a step back and use a little imagination. Or you just wait til you wear out the current tires and step up lol.

Chopped with a 4" Lift ... Plenty of flex room!

A few years when there were less threads and opinions on this subject, I chopped the fenders without lifting my 2007 4-door in attempt to keep a low COG. Was fine for daily driving alone, but with large friends aboard, it rubbed on the rear body.

So then I lifted it 2.5 inches.

IMO chopped fenders are not needed, there's enough clearance already.

It's a driveway photo, but shows the clearance with 2.5" lift and chopped fenders...
