Default chopped rear bumper

Has anybody ever cut the plastic off the back bumper and just used the metal frame or made back into a stubby??? Jw

I took mine off didn't like it so cut the plastic down. I think it looks good. I will take pics and post them tomorrow. I have seen others on the forum you could try a search.

I chopped my rear bumper and converted it to a stubby. You can see some pics in my album. It's not ideal but it's not bad looking either. It's held me over till I could afford a proper rear bumper and tire carrier which should be soon!

I want to run 37's but keep my factory bumper, would that work and what does it cost. I like the look of it.

Pretty sure it's rated up to a 40" tire, and it's around $500 with a Gerry can option. Lots of people on here running that setup
